Miriam Niblick

Miriam L. Niblick, 79, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 in her residence.

Born on September 12, 1939 in Huntington County, Indiana, she is the daughter to the late Norman and Opal (Bardsley) VanEmon.  On July 26, 1959 in Primitive Baptist Church in Huntington County, Indiana, she married John D. Niblick who survives.

Miriam graduated from Bluffton High School in 1957. After graduation she worked at the Dutch Mill in Bluffton. She attended Main Street United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She loved hummingbirds, bears, and cats.

Surviving along with her husband John, are two daughters, Jinny L. (Brad) Winstead, Lafayette; Laura A. Niblick, Lafayette; two sons, Max V. (Melanie) Niblick, Logansport; George O. Niblick, Bismarck, ND; brother, Earl (June) VanEmon, Wooster, OH; sister, Verna May Ross, Bluffton; two grandsons, Dexter G. Niblick, George M. Niblick Jr.; two granddaughters, Aurora M. (Austin) Hayes, Audrey M. Niblick; two great granddaughters, Shaylan Niblick and Miriam Niblick.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosella Gentis

Private graveside services will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton, Indiana.
