Miriam Wardlow,89, of Logansport and formerly of Mishawaka and Madison, Indiana passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at 8:25 AM at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born January 26, 1924, in South Bend, she was the daughter of the late Albert Absalom and Elvena Belle (Miller) Stevens. On December 12, 1942 in Mishawaka she married Willis L. "Bill" Wardlow who preceded in death on May 30, 2013.

Miriam was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a 1942 graduate of Mishawaka High School and a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Logansport. For many years, she was active at Madison Presbyterian Church, serving in many roles, including financial secretary.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Kelley, Logansport; Susan (Norman) Criss, Louisville, KY; one son, Jon (Dianna) Wardlow, Columbus, IN; two grandsons, Patrick Kelley, Lafayette; and Scott (Kandice) Criss, Shepherdsville, KY; four granddaughters, Julie (Benjamin) Flanagan, Independence, KY; Beth (Richard) Stumpf, Springfield, OH; Amy Wardlow; and Sarah Wardlow, both of Bloomington, IN; nine great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter.

Miriam was preceded in death two brothers and six sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Noon in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Mankell officiating. A private burial will be held in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Mishawaka.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
