Myna Walters

Myna R. Walters, 86, of Camden passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 at Milner Community Health Care Center in Rossville, IN.

Born April 24, 1927 in Carroll County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Leah (Veatch) Roberson. On February 14, 1960 in Wisconsin she married Don L. Walters who preceded in death on October 18, 2001.

Myna worked as a deputy recorder for the county building, a secretary for the Hanna & Hanna Law Firm, and the Brethren Healthcare Nursing Home.

She was a 1945 graduate of Camden High School. Myna was a member of the Living Faith Church of the Brethren in Flora, and an auxiliary member of the American Legion Post #75. She's a former member of the Lower Deer Creek Church where she served as a Deacon on the church board.

Surviving are two daughters, Kris Walters, Camden; Robin Sipes, Lafayette; son in law, Mike Sipes, West Lafayette; nephew, Jim (Marcia) Roberson, Camden; three nieces, Linda (Al) Lindsey, Williamsport, IN; Jill Robinson; and Margo (Curt) Wells, both of South Carolina; lifelong friends, Elizabeth Sheetz, Flora; and Peg Miller, Burlington.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Laurel "Spider" Roberson.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Living Faith Church of the Brethren in Flora, with Pastor Jeff Thomson officiating. Burial will be in the Musselman Cemetery, Camden.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church on Tuesday.
