Nancy Arnett

Nancy L. Arnett, 67, of Logansport, was called home by God, after a 30-year battle with various cancers.

Born on October 7, 1955, in Logansport, Nancy is the daughter of William N. and Mary (Dilts) Polen.  On March 16, 1975, in Logansport, Nancy married Gary Arnett Sr. who survives.

Nancy was a 1974 graduate of Logansport High School. She had worked in the cafeteria at Columbia Elementary School and at Goodwill.  While she and Gary lived in Twelve Mile, they enjoyed volunteering their time in helping with all of the activities held in the Twelve Mile Park throughout the year.  Nancy was also a past Madam President for the Logansport Eagles Auxiliary.

Surviving along with her husband Gary, are three children, Gary (Megan) Arnett Jr. of Peru; Mildred Arnett of Logansport; Stephanie Arnett of Lafayette; mother, Mary Polen, Logansport; six grandchildren, Zachory (Izzy Hartley) Arnett, Kylie (Aaron) Freeman, Mikel Arnett, Tyler Belcher, Kamron Belcher, Alyxice Belcher; great granddaughter, Elena Arnett; three sisters, Diana Martin of Logansport; Darlene (Michael) Thompson of Indianapolis; Miriam (Travis Rose) VanSickle of Logansport and several nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Nancy.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, William Polen.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory..

A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the time of service on Friday.
