Natalie Carney, 86, Logansport, died Friday, March 9, 2012, in Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 14, 1925, in Kokomo, the daughter of William and Maude Dorsey Priesthoff. She was married Jan. 15, 1946, in Logansport, to William âBudâ Miller Carney, who preceded in death on March 11, 2004.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed painting, knitting, playing bridge and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Adair (John), Logansport, and Annette Shively (Pat), Logansport; a son, Mark Carney (Julie), Noblesville; grandsons, Brandon Adair (Kelly), Frankfort, Bradley Shively (Cheri), Logansport, Jack Carney, Noblesville, and Nick Carney, Noblesville; granddaughters, Mitzi Rogers (Sean), Logansport, and Jill Shively-Van Horn (Mark), Logansport; great-grandchildren, Max, Alli and Cooper Adair, Emilia and Alexis Rogers, Caitlyn and Tanner Shively, Cassandra Proffitt, Mya Shively-Van Horn and Drew Van Horn; and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by a sister, Viola Buchanan, and two brothers, Bill and John Priesthoff.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home, with Rev. Dean Fager officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
