Nathan Shively

Nathan P. Shively, 30, Logansport, died Friday, March 9, 2012, in his residence.

He was born Aug. 7, 1981 in Logansport, the son of John D. and Melissa S. Parker Shively.

A 1999 graduate of Logansport High School, Nathan was a member of Moose Lodge 232. He loved being with family and his friends and also enjoyed the outdoors. His greatest loves were his daughters, Emily and Alexis.

Survivors include his daughters, Emily Shively, Logansport, and Alexis Spencer, Logansport; his parents, John and Missy Shively, Logansport; a brother, Keaton Shively and wife, Erika, Logansport; his maternal grandparents, Sue Parker, Logansport, and Larry Parker and wife, Ruby, Logansport; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Margaret Shively.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home, with Zane Hanna officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to his daughters’ education fund at the funeral home or at Security Federal Savings Bank.
