Noel Albert Fricke, 78, Logansport, passed away at 6:40 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Hospice of South Central Indiana, Columbus.
Born Sept. 12, 1931, in Scottsburg, he was the son of Albert Louis Fricke and Ethel M. Evers.
He was retired from Arvin and was a former meat cutter for Ranch Supermarket.
He was a member of American Legion Post 60 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790. Noel was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Valenzuela, Edinburgh, Ruthie L. (Gary) Husel, Florida, and Tina (Michael) Bowen, Florida; sister-in-law, Alma Fricke, Seymour; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
The Rev. Jeff Ropp will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport. Burial with full military graveside rites will be conducted at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass Adult Activity Center, 115 S. Sixth St., Logansport, IN 46947.
