Services for Norma J. Baker, 81, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 11:53 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, in her residence.
Born May 21, 1926, in Bluffton, she was the daughter of Delton and Sylvia Miller Dangerfield. She was married in January 1976, in Logansport, to Forrest Baker, who preceded in death September of 1989.
She formerly worked in housekeeping at the Logansport State Hospital for 10 years. She enjoyed shopping and taking care of her poodle, FiFi. She attended the First Assembly of God Church of Logansport.
Surviving are one daughter, Dixie A. Lee, Logansport; two sons, Terry Black, and his wife, Sylvia, Houston, Texas, and Tim Black, and his wife, Kathy, Royal Center; two sisters, Joan Hicks, Lafayette, and Joyce Hayden, Logansport; eight grandchildren, Tracy Tate, Tina Church and her husband, Bobby, Jamie Black, Summer Yost and Shawn Black, all of Logansport, Michael Lee, and his wife, Melissa, Lafayette, Cristina Black, Houston, Texas, and Becky Denny, and her husband, Buddy, Squaw Lake, Minn.; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Three sisters also preceded in death.
Pastor Andy Weil will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
