Memorial services for Norma J. Nevin, 80, Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 8:36 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, in Monticello Assisted Living and Health Care Center, Monticello.
Born Oct. 19, 1928, in Camden, she was the daughter of Albert Owen Fisher and Willie Hazel Oyler. She was married on Nov. 21, 1948, in Deer Creek, to Vernon E. Nevin, who survives.
Norma retired from Plotnerâs Shoe Tree. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Pepsi.
She was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church and Psi Iota Xi Sorority. She was also a member of the Third Mothers Study Club, a faithful Red Cross volunteer and involved in the Mental Health Association.
Also surviving are daughter, Tara Hines and husband, Francis, Cape May Court House, N.J.; sister, Betty Nelson, Brookston; four grandchildren, Blake Winters, Cape May Court House, N.J., Jared Winters, Philadelphia, Pa., Sara Graeff and husband, Clayton, Coral Springs, Fla., and Patrick Hines, Cape May Court House, N.J.; and two great-granddaughters, Kristina Winters and Sierra Graeff.
One brother, Charles Jacobs, preceded in death.
Rev. Doug Mankell will officiate.
Friends may call two hours prior to services in the funeral home.
