Norma Schiele

Norma L. Schiele, 86, of Logansport, passed away at 7:49 AM, Monday, May 6, 2013 in Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on May 9, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Henry and Gladys (Murphy) Schiele.

Norma retired on July 12, 1986 as an attendant at the Logansport State Hospital. She had also worked at the Golden Rule and Logan Machine Company.

She was an avid collector of dishes, Shirley Temple Dolls, and Betty Boop Dolls.

Surviving Norma are two sisters, Marilyn Hensel, Logansport; and Dorothy M. McGrath, West Carrollton, OH; eleven nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Schiele; and one sister, Betty Miles.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Ever-Rest Memorial Park with Chaplain Larry Phillips officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riley Hospital for Children, or Hope Hospice.
