Oma Curry

Oma V. Curry, 91 of Logansport, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Chase Center in Logansport.
Born on February 21, 1921 in Bishop, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Mary Matilda Sparks Shrader. She married Hansel Curry who preceded her in death in June of 1984.
Oma was a retired Registered Nurse. She also enjoyed to sew, cook, crochet, and doing crafts.
She is survived by one son, Dahl (Colleen) Curry, Manassas, VA; one daughter, Roberta Roberts, Logansport; one brother, Frank Shrader, Torrance, CA; three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.
Services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, January 21, 2012 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
