Pamela Jones

Services for Susie Orr Jones, 49, of Indianapolis, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, in the Veterans Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born May 30, 1956, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Dwight and Valarie Kantzer Orr. She was married Aug. 6, 1976, in Biloxi, Miss., to Michael Alan Jones, who survives.

A 1974 graduate of Logansport High School, Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

She was a member of Calvary Temple Church of Indianapolis.

Also surviving are four sons, Joshua Lowe and his wife, Misty, Twelve Mile, Joshua Jones, Jacob Jones and Justin Jones, all of Indianapolis; one daughter, Christy Jones, Indianapolis; her mother, Valarie Higgs, Monticello; her father-in-law, Donald Jones, Logansport; her grandmother, Laura Kantzer, Twelve Mile; two half brothers, Pat Orr, Logansport, and John Zimmerman, Texas; a half sister, Brenda Lux, North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Rod Jones and his wife, Mary, Logansport; a sister-in-law, Deb Woolington and her husband, Mike, Logansport; and two grandchildren, Levi and Luke Lowe, Twelve Mile.

Pastor Jerry McCamey will officiate at the services. Burial, with full military graveside rites, will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Calvary Temple Church, 2901 N. Post Road, Indianapolis, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport.
