Patricia “Pat” M. Cunningham, 61, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.
Born on January 20, 1959 in Logansport, she is the daughter to the late Robert and Viola (Birnell) Smith. On March 22, 1975 in the Walton Methodist Church, she married Larry W. Cunningham Sr. who survives.
Pat was a homemaker and she loved to cook, especially with her grandchildren. The family always looked forward to her homemade pies, chocolate chip cookies and her “homemade” brownies. Pat enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel, coloring, and going on vacation to the beach. She was an avid supporter of Lewis Cass High School sports, and loved watching her grandchildren in their events.
Surviving along with her husband Larry Sr., are four children, Dawn (Rusty) Logan of Logansport; Amber (Matt) Benner of Walton; Christina (John) Elpers of Logansport; and Larry (Alicia) Cunningham Jr. of Logansport; 12 grandchildren, Elly, Emma, and Kylie Logan; Kaden and Kaitlyn Benner; Jaylynn and Kelsey Elpers; Nevaeh Gordon; Veronika Malott; Owen Thomas; Zabrena and Osten Cunningham; mother, Viola Smith of Kokomo; sister, Brenda (Curtis) Schnieb of Flora; brother, Robert Smith of Walton; brother in law, Dan Woolever of Kokomo; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elexandra Cunningham, her father, Robert Smith, sister, Joetta Woolever, and her brother, Andy Smith.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor David Payton officiating. Burial will follow at Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Walton.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2020 also at the funeral home.
