Patricia Ellison

Patricia “Patty” Anderson-Ellison, 37, passed away at 5:45 P.M. Friday, July 24th, 2009 at Camelot Care Center after a courageous struggle with cancer.

She was born August 31st, 1971 in Fort Wayne, IN to Jennie Ruth Anderson .

Patty started her life with her natural family and came to the Camelot Care Center in Logansport at the age of three. She had a happy childhood. She resided in a group home in Kokomo from age 18, until recently when she became too ill. She returned home to Camelot Care Center for more TLC.

(Patty was a bright, happy person who enjoyed life and being involved with whatever was “going on”; she was a social butterfly who loved being with people, and was sure to let you know she was around. She will be missed.)

Patty is survived by both her natural family; grandmother Gussie Lee Cross, and her adoptive family, mother AnnaRae Ellison, grandparents James and Dorothea Ellison, uncles Scott and Jerry (Lori) Ellison, aunt Shelly Ellison, cousins Michell (Justin) Chanley, Micah Kistler, Aubri Kistler, James Ellison, great-cousins Noah and Isaiah Chanley as well as many extended aunts, uncles and cousins; included also are her Group Home and Bona Vista families from Kokomo.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie Rut Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, July 27, 2009 in Gundrum Funeral Home, with Rev. Kent Keener officiating. Interment will be at Ever Rest Cemetery.

Friends and Family may call 2-hours prior to services Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
