Services for Patricia Mae Gaddis, 74, Logansport, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born July 11, 1934, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Glen Sr. and Alyce McCoy Gilbert. She was married Nov. 23, 1950, in Logansport, to Glenn D. Gaddis Jr., who preceded in death Dec. 20, 2004.

She retired as a clerk from the A&P Grocery Store.

She was a member of VFW Post 3790 Ladies Auxiliary and Boystown Club, and was a member of the Retail Merchants Union. Pat enjoyed bird watching, gardening, crocheting and her dog, Katilyn.

Surviving are daughters, Debra Jo Gaddis-Fisher and companion, Randy, and Barbara Valdez and husband, Brent, all of Logansport; son, Glenn Dale Gaddis III and wife, Tina, Royal Center; brother, William Gilbert, Logansport; eight grandchildren, Harold Gaddis and wife, Emily, Maine, Julia Rose and husband, Mark, Bunker Hill, Alyce White, Logansport, Michael Thomas, Winamac, Nicholas Gaddis, Brandi Riley, Mitch Valdez and wife, April, and Kayla Valdez all of Logansport; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Frye; two brothers, Gerald and Glen Gilbert Jr.; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Jade Gerard-Thomas.

The Rev. Jeff Strite will officiate. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the ASPCA.
