Patrick Robert Hart, 49, Walton, died at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, in his residence.
Born Sept. 6, 1960, in Chicago, he was the son of Barb Hoffman. He was married Oct. 12, 1996, in Logansport, to Michele Hay, who survives in Walton.
Patrick was an MRI and CT operator for Lafayette Home Hospital.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the AART, and he enjoyed fishing and playing bass guitar.
Also surviving with his wife are daughter, Grace Hart, Walton; son, Matthew Hart, Walton; mother, Barb Sands, Plainfield, Ill.; stepfather, Don Sands, Plainfield, Ill.; grandma, Edith Hoffman, Plainfield, Ill.; brother, Tim Hart and wife, Andrea, Oklahoma City; sisters, Kathy Plumley, Memphis, Tenn., and Nora Nicholes, Chicago; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Mary Jane Hay, Galveston; sisters-in-law, Jackie Scherle and husband, Tom, Jasper, and Sherri Gehlhausen and husband, Todd, Galveston; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Hoffman.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Center United Methodist Church with Pastor John Newman officiating.
Burial, with full military graveside rites, will be in Center Cemetery, Galveston.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour before services Saturday at the church.
