Phillip Mccormick

Phillip B. McCormick, 74 of Logansport, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born on January 13, 1940 in Vincennes, Indiana, he was the son of the late Charles and Cecilia (Brouillette) McCormick.  On November 12, 1960 in East Chicago, Indiana he married Roberta De LasCasas who survives.

Phillip retired after 28 years as a teacher for Kokomo High School. He was a 1958 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Vincennes, he then attended Indiana State University. Phillip enjoyed wood working, camping, and traveling.

Surviving along with his wife Roberta is one daughter, Laura (Charles) Eslinger; son, Phillip B. (Jackie) McCormick, both of Logansport; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon (Julian) Kras, Schererville, IN; Linda (Charles) Paine, Corpus Christi, TX.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecka McCormick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Michael McKinney officiating.  Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

There will be no visitation.
