Phillip Frank Monard Jr.

Phillip Frank Monard Jr., 61, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at the Life Care Center of Rochester.

Born on October 13, 1962, in Linden, New Jersey, Phillip is the son of the late Phillip Frank Monard Sr. and Grace (Parke)Monard.  Phillip was a former city employee for Abilene, Texas.

Phillip loved his family, especially his children. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, playing BINGO and joking around with people. Phillip was a prankster, one of his favorite things to do was to squirt his staff with water guns or silly string.

Surviving Phillip, are three daughters, Angel (Kevin Wallace) Monard of Logansport; Elizabeth Bruner of Wichita, Kansas; Kandice Monard of Goshen; son, Ace (Karen) Monard of Goshen; sister, Ann Monard of Abilene, Texas; two brothers, George Monard, Abilene, TX and George “Scooter” Monard, Abilene, TX; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Phillip was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Leann Monard, three brothers and a nephew.

The family would like to thank all the hot nurses at the Life Care Center in Rochester for their care.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
