Phyllis Busch

Phyllis L. Busch, 97, of Logansport, passed away Thursday Dec. 26, 2019 at 11:03 pm at Logansport Memorial Hospital ER.

Born December 16, 1922 in Logansport, IN to the late George and Gladys (English) Moore. On July 26, 1941 in Star City, IN Phyllis married Earl Busch who preceded in death on March 21, 2011

Phyllis formerly worked as a sales lady at J.C. Penny, Plotner’s Shoe Store, Bailey’s and Milford’s. She had also worked part time at the Walton Freeze.

Survivors include one son, Tim (Carma) Busch, Logansport; two daughters, Cindy (Ron) Pownell, Ft. Myers, FL; Kathy (Bill) King, Peru; nine grandchildren Kim James, Jenni (Randy) Menckler, Laura (Roovelroe) Swan, Angie (Tom) Wisler, Brooke (Andy) Wynn, Scott (Elisa) Graham, Chris (Mary Ellen) Pownell, Brian (Tina ) King and Brandon (Heather) Busch; 25-great grandchildren and 15-great great grandchildren.

Phyllis was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca L. Brown, son, Tommy Busch, grandson, Chad R. Busch, two granddaughters, Bridgette King and Beth Bowser, and a son-in-law, Stan Brown.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
