Phyllis Jean Fellers
Services for Phyllis Jean Fellers, 80, Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, in her residence.
Born Oct. 10, 1926, in Logansport, she was the daughter of George H. Cleo Glancy Fellers.
Phyllis retired In 1989 from National Friction Products after 21 years of service. She also was a former manager of the Railroad Restaurant and former bartender at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790.
She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, VFW Post 3790 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 60 Ladies Auxiliary and Logansport Eagles Lodge 323 Ladies Auxiliary.
Phyllis enjoyed bowling, gardening and animals, especially Smoky her cat. She also was known to visit a casino a time or two.
Surviving are one sister, Maxine Shively, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.
Five brothers and two sisters preceded in death.
The Rev. Tim Berlin will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today in Gundrum Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 5 p.m. by the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 3790 and to a favorite charity.
