Services for Phyllis J. Gotshall, 81, Logansport, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, in her residence.

Born Jan. 25, 1928, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Charley Henry and Ucea Fern Daniels Leazenby. She was married Aug. 26, 1949, in Young America, to Donald Everett Gotshall, who preceded in death Jan. 26, 2006.

Phyllis was a homemaker. She attended Center United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing and doing yard work.

Surviving are daughter, Diana Fuller and husband, Rodney, Owensboro, Ky.; son, Stephen L. Gotshall and wife, Natalie, Logansport; six grandchildren, Shaun Lee Gotshall and wife, Miranda, Logansport, Christina Trlak and husband, Robert, Peru, Derrick Jonson Gotshall, Walton, and Rebecca York and husband, Caleb, Jeffrey Fuller and wife, Tara, and Joshua Fuller and wife, Sarah, all of Owensboro, Ky.; 11 great-grandchildren, Kit Gotshall, Noah York, Christian Fuller, Jordan Fuller, Kaylee Fuller, Graycen Fuller, Marlayna DiSalvo, Chordelle DiSalvo, Evan Trlak, Emma Alvarado and Payton Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Leazenby, Grace Leazenby, Ethel Mae See and Anna R. Heishman; and four brothers, Earl Leazenby, John E. Leazenby, Charles Leazenby Jr. and Everett W. Leazenby.

The Rev. John Newman will officiate. Private graveside services will be held at Center Cemetery in Young America.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
