Ralph Lee Slusser, 77, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 9:24 PM, at the Emergency Room in Memorial Hospital, Logansport.
Born on June 28, 1936, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Parker and Ruth (Sherman) Slusser. On October 14, 1954, in Logansport he married Doris Mae Nethercutt who survives.
Ralph retired in 1990 from Chrysler as a crib attendant after 30 years of service. He was a graduate of Burnettsville High School, an avid hunter and fisherman. Ralph also enjoyed watching his grandchildrens sporting events. Ralph was an Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving along with his wife are two sons, Craig A. (Teresa) Slusser, Logansport; Parker B. Slusser Burlington, IN; Daughter, Jane B. (Bill) Johns, McCalla, AL; daughter in law, Teresa Slusser, Rochester, IN; two sisters, Gertrude Slusser, Francesville; Evelyn Minks, Logansport; sister in law, Dorothy Slusser, Francesville, IN; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dirk Slusser, two great granddaughters, Emma Jayde and Trinity, one sister, Louise Wilson and one brother, Allen Slusser.
The family will have a private viewing followed by burial at Davis Cemetery in Burnettsville.
