Services for Randall K. Bowman, 53, Logansport, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Assembly of God Church, 831 Burlington Ave. in Logansport.
He died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, in Greensboro, Ga.
Born Jan. 17, 1956, in Logansport, he was the son of Marion Phillip Bowman and Delores Jean Vernon. He was married Feb. 8, 1975, in Walton, to Jacqueline Ann Birnell, who passed away in the same auto accident.
He was a transport officer for Prisoner Transport Service of America. He had also worked for the Cass County Sheriffâs Office.
Randall enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR, especially Tony Stewart, college basketball and professional football, playing poker, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a 1975 graduate of Logansport High School.
Surviving are daughters, Katina A. Lewis and companion, Rick Monroe, Kokomo, and Jennifer D. Bowman and companion, Charles Mullett, Logansport; grandchildren, Ronald B. Lewis Jr., Charles Randall Mullett, Ryan Alan Monroe, Tomas A. Pena, Aidan Michael Lewis, and Jennifer Hulsizer; great-grandson, Brantley Hicks; several aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and close friend, Ronald B. Lewis Sr. and wife, Heather, Logansport.
He was preceded in death by six brothers.
Pastors Jim Spalding and Jim Sparks will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour before services Monday at the church.
