Ray R. Rush, 90, of Logansport passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on May 26, 1925, he was the son of the late Sam and Bessie (Wray) Rush.  On October 28, 1944 in the Walton Christian Church he married Bonnie M. Adams who survives.

Ray was a 1943 graduate of Onward High School.  He was a 68 year member of Onward Christian Church where he loved his church family, making noodles with the noodle crew and serving many roles within the church. Ray had served on the Walton Tipton Township Library Board, and the Southeastern School Board.  Most important to Ray was the time spent with his family.

Surviving along with his wife Bonnie are two sons, Phil R. (Freda) Rush, New Palestine, IN; Dennis J. (Joset) Rush, Logansport; three grandchildren, Tina Rush, Canton, MI; Greg Rush, Marion, IN; Todd Rush, Shirley, IN; three step grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; nephew, Jack (Judy) Berlet; niece, Bonnie Sailors, both of Walton; and his favorite dog, Gus.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Berlet.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 8, 2015 in the Onward Christian Church with Pastor Rod Mason and Pastor Andy Clark officiating.  Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in the Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service in the church on Monday.

Memorials may be made to the Onward Christian Church Memorial Fund.
