Richard Benish

Richard “Rich” J. Benish, 73, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at his residence.

Born on April 24, 1947 in Manistique, Michigan, he is the son to the late John and Albina (O’Claire) Benish.  On February 4, 1970 in Logansport, he married Betty J. Langdon who survives. Rich worked as a Merchant Marine for 40 years.

Surviving along with his wife Betty, are three sons, Rob (Diona) Benish, Lake Cicott; Shawn (Bobbi Jo) Benish, Bedford, IN; Jason (Brandy Moss) Benish, Logansport; six grandchildren, Olivia Benish, Gatlin Benish, Ely Benish, Gage Benish, Talynn Benish, Braeden Benish; great granddaughter, Elena Benish; two brothers, Donald (Marilyn) Benish, Grand Rapids, MI; Robert (Linda) Benish, Brownsville, TX; sister, Sandy Benish, Manistique, MI; sister in law, Lynn Benish, Logansport.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ben Benish.
