Richard Fiedler

Richard Allen Fiedler, 75, died at 6:45 PM Saturday February 5, 2011 at his residence in Fort Wayne.
Born June 21, 1935 in Logansport, he was the son of Ernest and Euna Lewis Fiedler. He was married July 23, 1966 in Galveston, Indiana to Dee Ann Garbert who survives.
Rich was very active in Boy Scouts, he also received the Lamb Award from the Lutheran Council. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Rich was a United States Army Veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post 418. He enjoyed his woodworking and retired from Gen Corp.
Surviving are his wife Dee Ann of Fort Wayne; sons, Mark Fiedler (Melissa); David Garbert Both of Fort Wayne; and Jack Fiedler who lives in Kokomo. Brothers; Fred Fiedler (Anita), Georgia; Michael Fiedler (Rosalie), Illinois; Sisters, Irene Erickson (Eric), Minnesota; Sue Hahn, Westfield; Linda Schrimsher, Logansport. Sister in Law, Margaret Fiedler, Logansport. Grandchildren, Payton, Riley, and Luke Fiedler all of Fort Wayne. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Bret and 1 Brother , Lewis.
Visitation will be held at Gundrum Funeral Home on Wednesday February 9, 2011 from 4-8 PM.
Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church at 10:30 am on Thursday February 10, 2011.
Reverend Teal Anderson will be officiating, Burial will be private.
