Services for Richard L. âDickâ Munson, 73, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 4:25 a.m. Sunday, May 27, 2007, in his residence.
Born Aug. 17, 1933, in Carroll County, he was the son of Charles B. and Waneita L. Parish Munson.
A 1951 graduate of Camden High School, Dick was a retired farmer and horse caretaker for Robert Gangloff for over 30 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War in Alaska.
He enjoyed collecting toys and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his loving companion, Dee Rolls, Logansport; two daughters, Elaine Hutton and her husband, Dave, St. Louis, Mo., and Shirley Andrus and her husband, David, Kissimmee, Fla.; two sons, Richard âRickâ Munson and his companion, Kim, Stroudsburg, Pa., and Scooter Rolls and his wife, Renee, Logansport; two brothers, Edward Munson and his wife, June, Logansport, and Gary âButchâ Munson and his wife, Sharon, Twelve Mile; 12 grandchildren, Joni Oberhauser and her husband, Mark, Jeffersonville, Ben Hutton and his wife, Kelly, Edwardsville, Ill., James Hutton and his wife, Katey, Glen Carbon, Ill., Lauren Munson, Parker Munson, Ryan Kessler and Nicole Munson, all of Stroudsburg, Pa., Sydney Andrus and Lyndsey Andrus, both of Kissimmee, Fla., Brock Rolls and his companion, Kari, Lafayette, and Nicole Masters and Nikeah Herreford, both of Logansport; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mark Oberhauser will officiate at the services. Burial, with full military rites, will be in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
