Richard Ricks

Richard H. Ricks, 83 of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on February 4, 1934 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late George Herman and Eva Marie (Heath) Ricks.  Richard retired from Wilson Foods and was a United States Army Veteran.

Surviving are three sons, Rick G. (Les) Ricks, Logansport; Jeff (Mayling) Ricks, Miramar, FL; Ron Ricks, Logansport; daughter, Melissa (Randy Delrymple) Rodriguez, Logansport; two sisters, Shirley Ferguson, Kentucky; Maria Stoltzner, Carmel; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Rodriguez and a sister, Romayne Durr.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Tim McKaig officiating. Military Rites will be performed prior to the service.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday.
