Services for Ricky Lee Peters, 51, Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 9:42 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Born Oct. 23, 1956, in Logansport, he was the son of Robert Lewis Peters and Elizabeth M. Green.
He was married Sept. 10, 2005, in Logansport, to Pam Hines, who survives.
Ricky was a former Iron Worker for Local No. 379 of Lafayette. Most recently, he was trucking with his wife.
He attended the First Church of the Nazarene.
Ricky was also a member of the Logansport Elks Lodge No. 66, Patriot Guard Riders, Iron Workers Union and was involved in fund raising events, charities and benefits. He was also a member of ABATE of Indiana.
Also surviving are daughters, Stacey Peters, New York; Jennifer Peters, Kentucky; Ashley Peters, Kentucky; sisters, Sherri L. Young, Logansport; Drenda Yocum, Royal Center; Rashelle Ponchaud and her husband, Gary, Cascade, Wis.; Pamela Johnson, Wis.; brothers, Wayne Fry and his wife, Patti, Royal Center; Michael Fry, Logansport; granddaughter Randi, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Step-mother, Claudette M. Peters, preceded in death.
Dr. Horace Smith will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
An Elks service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday.
