Ricky Heath

Ricky L. Heath, 63 of Logansport, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 10, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born on September 24, 1955 in Hammond, Indiana, he is the son to the late Joseph and Katie (Croney) Heath.  On December 2, 1978 at the Wheatland Avenue Church in Logansport, he married Shelly DeWitt who survives.

Ricky worked as a maintenance supervisor for Tyson.

Surviving along with his wife Shelly, is a son, Dustin (Julie) Heath of Amboy, IN; daughter, Ashley Weathers of Logansport, IN; three granddaughters, Abby Heath of Amboy, IN, Molly Heath of Amboy, IN, Ella Weathers of Logansport, IN; sister, Sandra (Lenny) Hultz of Crown Point, IN;  Several Nieces & Nephews

Preceded in death by a brother, James Heath.

Services for Ricky will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Osborn officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm also in the funeral home.

Ricky’s family asks that in his memory, you donate blood to the American Red Cross if you are able.
