Rita Fivecoate

Rita G. Fivecoate, 88, Kokomo, formerly of Royal Center, passed away at
4:50 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Waterford Place Health
Campus in Kokomo.
She was born Nov. 13, 1924, in Cass County, the daughter of Wilbur Azbell
and Marie (Kingery) Azbell.
On March 16, 1943, in Miami County, she married Raymond E. (Zip)
Fivecoate, who preceded in death May 11, 2002.
She retired in 1986 after several years working for Switches. She was a
member of the Webb Chapel United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed quilting.
Surviving are a daughter, Carmen R. Gaskill and husband, Roger, Kokomo;
two granddaughters, Kelly Inderhees and husband, Tom, Olathe, Kan., and
Jenna Ward and husband, Chris, Kokomo; grandson, Eric Gaskill and fiancee,
Kelly of Forest; a brother, Basil Azbell and wife, Janice, Wabash; a
sister, Deloris Greathouse, Greentown; great-grandchildren, Haley, Kacie,
Andrew and Christopher Inderhees, Adriannah Pierson and Myah Pierson.
A son, Allen Wayne Fivecoate, preceded her in death.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport. The
Rev. Bill Bergstrom will officiate. Burial will be Kistler Cemetery, Royal
Center. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
