Robert Eugene "Gene" Graf, age 71, of Logansport,passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 3:25 P.M. at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.
A brief celebration of life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on September 30, 2013 at the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Paul Bigger officiating.
Born December 12, 1941 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Robert D. and Mary L. (Dillon) Graf. He was married on September 23, 1962 to Linda Lape for fifty one wonderful years, who survives.
Bob attended McKinley Grade School "Horney Creek Marine", Riley Jr. Hi and graduated from Flora High School in 1959.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, 1966-1968. He worked at RBM, Switches, retiring in 2003 from White-Rodgers in Mexico.
He dearly loved his family, enjoyed golf, bowling, yard work, and most of the people he met.
Other survivors include three sons, Kevin D. (Pam) Graf, Logansport; Tony E. (Kim) Graf, Westfield; Brian Graf, Camden; one sister, Kathy Graf, Flora; five grandchildren, Cody, Jacob, Rachel, Gavin & Kayla.
He suggested family, friends, and acquaintances visit the 20th Street Sycamore Stand and raise a cone or tip a shake for him, so remember that for next summer.
A visitation of family and friends will be held at the Mount Hope cemetery chapel from 9:30 am Monday until time of services. Burial with full military graveside rites, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, if desired may be made to any favorite charity.
