Robert Wayne âBobâ Hunt, 83, Logansport, died at 2:20 a.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Born Dec. 3, 1926, in Kokomo, he was the son of Monroe and Faye Brady Hunt. He was married April 1, 1967, in Logansport, to Enid M. Fissel Hunt, who preceded in death after 42 years of marriage on Nov. 30, 2009.
Bob retired from Rockwell International on Jan. 1, 1989, after 35 years and eight months of service.
Bob was a member of Cross-Wind United Methodist Church, Elks Lodge 66, Eagles Lodge 323 and American Legion Post 60. He enjoyed golf, bowling and also watching all sports on TV. Along with his wife, Enid, they had traveled the U.S. and Canada. Bob also was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving are a brother, Monroe Hunt Jr. and wife, Carol, Logansport; half sisters, Margaret Long and husband, Tom, Kokomo, and Wanda Shepherd and husband, Michael, Carmel; half brother, Morrison Berry and wife, Diane, Lafayette; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gundrum Funeral Home with the Rev. George Plasterer officiating.
Burial, with full military graveside rites, will be in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
