Robert Mcintire

Robert Dwayne McIntire, 62, of Logansport, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:12 am in the St. Vincent Heat Center of Indiana.

Born October 6, 1951 in Logansport, IN to the late Leo McIntire Jr. and Lora Murphy.

Dwayne was a former mechanic for Kinzie's Auto Sales and J.D. Byryder. He was also part owner and promoter of the Miami County Speedway. Dwayne was an avid race enthusiast.

Survivors include his companion of thirty years, Connie Edmisson, Logansport; three nephews, Eric McIntire, Rochester; Brandon McIntire, Terre Haute; Shannon McIntire, Frankfort; two uncles, Phillip (Mary Ann) McIntire, Logansport; Richard McIntire, Yuma, AZ; and several cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 @ 6:00 pm in The Gundrum Funeral Home with Chaplin Dave Cochran officiating.

Visitation will be from 2pm until time of services on Wednesday in the funeral home.

Cremation will be handled by the Cass County Crematory and burial will be at a later date in the Royal Center Cemetery.
