Robert Wilson

Robert C. Wilson, 92 of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in his residence.

Born on June 8, 1925 in Cass County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Cecil and Dorothy (Tyler) Wilson.  On February 24, 1946 in Logansport he married Helen who survives.

Robert was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran serving with the 8th Air Force, 388th Bomb Group, 562nd Bomb Squadron in Northern France and a former member of the Eagles Lodge 232.  Robert retired from the Pharos Tribune where he was a press operator for over 45 years.

Surviving along with his wife Helen are two daughters, Mary Ann Quaglio; Helen Elaine (Richard) James; brother, Daniel (Lynn) Wilson, all of Logansport; four grandchildren, Bob (Nanette) Newcom, Atlanta, GA; John (Amy) Newcom, Logansport; Cristie (Rick) Rans, Lucerne; Kevin (Jeanie) Good, Logansport; and five great grandchildren, Isabelle Newcom, Jacqueline Rans, Mitchell Rans, Olivia Good and Sabrina Good.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, and three brothers.

Per Robert’s request, services will be private for his family. Entombment will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
