On August 17, 1958 in the Corinth Brethren Church in Twelve Mile, Indiana he married the love of his life, Linda Lou Long. They would have celebrated their 60 th wedding anniversary next month.

He was loved by his classmates and continued many friendships from those days. Bob’s classmates would visit him regularly throughout his stay at Woodbridge.
Bob was a 4-H member and proud of his blue ribbon eggs. He worked as a Dairy Farmer all his life. He loved his cows and farming his ground, he had also been featured in the Pharos Tribune when one of his cows gave birth to triplet Holstein calves. Bob loved all his animals, but he had a special bond with his Pomeranian Peaches who could always be found sitting at his feet.
One of Bob and Linda’s special projects was their cabin. They loved having campfires, playing croquet and watching their grandchildren play and explore the land. They also enjoyed playing euchre and made some wonderful memories with their card club members every month.
