Rodney "Jr." Moss

Rodney L. “Junior” Moss, 87 of Logansport, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1:57 PM in the Arbor at Logansport Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born August 26, 1929 in Cass County to the late Rodney L. Moss Sr. and Ruth Sharp. On Dec. 20, 1975 in Logansport he married Mary J. Oaks who preceded in death on Jan. 28, 2013.

Junior retired from General Tire Company in 1987 after 40 years of service. He was a Lifetime member of the Walton American Legion Post #418 and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include one daughter, Deb (Jeff) Schelling, Shaker Heights, OH; two sons, Tim (Misty) Moss and Tom (Nancy) Moss, both of Logansport; step daughter-in-law, Delores Morgan, Winamac; sister-in-law, Millie Conrad, Logansport; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Three brothers, one sister and one daughter, Donna Jackson, preceded in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. Burial will full military rites will follow in the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
