Roger Hinkle

Roger Ray Hinkle, 71, of Logansport, passed away Friday September 14, 2018 at 7:00 pm in St. Vincent Hospital of Indianapolis.

Born January 22, 1947 in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Aulty Clark and  Laura Viola (Dobbs) Hinkle. On June 1, 2008 in Logansport he married Ruby L. “Palmer” Fisher who survives.

Roger was a self-employed construction worker. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran and a member of the National Rifle Association.

Other survivors also include one daughter, Jolene (Zeb) Bookmiller, Logansport; step-daughter, Julia (Dan) Doughman, Hoagland, IN; one granddaughter, Jaelyn Scherer and six step-grandchildren.

Two sons, one daughter, one step-daughter, two brothers and three sisters, have preceded him in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday September 19, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Colleen Harden officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park cemetery.

A visitation time for friends and family will be held from 11:00 am until time of services on Wednesday.
