LOGANSPORT â Ronald W. Waddups, 66, Logansport, died at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 26, 1945, in Cass County, the son of Charles H. and Mary Elizabeth Knebel Waddups. He was married Oct. 20, 1998, in Logansport to Barbara A. Hoover.
He was retired from T.M. Morris Manufacturing.
Ronald was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Grass Creek High School.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dog âLady.â
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Waddups, Logansport; three stepdaughters, Marshal Baker, Flo Beck and Tonya Hudson, all of Logansport; two brothers, Chuck Waddups and wife, Ruth Ann, and Dick Waddups, all of Logansport; sisters, June Campbell and Nancy Gordon, both of Logansport, and Sue Fellers, Kewanna; sisters-in-law, Liz Waddups and Arlene Waddups, both of Logansport; 14 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews He was preceded in death by four brothers, Art, Dale, Murl and Tom Waddups, and two sisters, Marie Benn and Eileen Thompson.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Gundrum Funeral Home, with Kelly Spencer officiating. Burial, with full military graveside rites, will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
