Roselen ‘Rose’ Marie Jones
Roselen “Rose” Marie Jones, 67, Logansport, died at 9:49 p.m.
Thursday, April 1, 2010, in Memorial Hospital, Logansport.
Born Sept. 13, 1942, in Knox, she was the daughter of Oscar Kelley
and Vera Myers. Her adoptive parents were Meredith and Frieda
Clark. She was married May 30, 1960, in Gainesville, Fla., to William
“Bill” Jones, who preceded in death May 20, 1976.
A homemaker, she enjoyed crafts, sewing quilts, cooking and
gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her
dog, Rosco.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Cappis and husband Larry,
Royal Center, Cindy Boucher and husband, Mark, Logansport,
Marianne Burdick and fiancé, Paul, North Carolina, Kay Snowberger
and husband, Ed, Brookston; son, Tim Jones and wife, Kathryn,
Oceanside, Calif.; daughter, Ginger Hook and companion, Jeff,
South Bend; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers,
Dick Kelley, Logansport, Larry Kelley and wife, Susie, Logansport;
sister, Karen Swanson, Logansport; several nieces and nephews;
and close friends, Brenda and Vic Hoch, Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Verna Tevis and Carol
Decker.
Due to Rosie’s wishes, there will be no services.
