Roy Mccarty

Roy Wesley McCarty, 65, of Peru, passed away Tuesday Nov. 8, 2016 at 8:30 AM in his residence.

Born April 15, 1951 in Higginsport, OH to the late Roy Chester and Freida Delores (Coleman) McCarty.

On December 22, 1980 in Waco, Texas he married Kristina Marie Link who survives.

Roy was a maintenance manager for Trelleborg Inc. He loved spending time his family, going fishing and spending time with his dogs.

Surviving along with his wife are two daughters, Heather Dawn (Scott) Walker, Labanon, OH; Cassandra Marie (Dustin) Marks, Peru, IN; two sons, James McCarty, Chicago, IL; Roy Wayne McCarty, Peru, IN; two sisters, Jean Davis, Waco, TX; Delynn Finley, Batavia, OH; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Roy will be held at a later date with friends and family.

Services have been entrusted to Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory.

Memorials may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter in Peru, IN.
