Ruby Ann Sanders Grimes Molden., 70, OâFallon, Ill., formerly of Logansport, died at 12:55 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, at her residence.
Born September 27, 1941, in Logansport , Indiana. She was the daughter of John S. Sanders and Lucille Eikelberner. She was married to Ronald D. Grimes on October 4th 1959, in Royal Center. She married Robert L. Molden Jr. on May 24, 1986, in Logansport.
Ruby Graduated from Royal Center High School in 1959. She was formerly employed at Four County Mental Health Center and Smith Douglas Fertilizer Company.
Ruby was a member of the New Life Alliance Church and Shiloh Christian Church.
Ruby enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and their many slumber parties. She was an avid cross stitcher and loved watching the Colts. Ruby won many Corporate Challenge awards in ping pong and golf. She also enjoyed going out to eat and watching movies with her lifelong friend Toni Ward.
Surviving are Anita Grimes Klopfenstein and husband, Lynn, OâFallon, Ill., Lisa Grimes DeShields and Dennis, Accokeek, Md., and Lora Grimes McWherter and husband, David, Royal Center, son, Mark Robert Molden , Rochester; daughters, Kristina Willis and husband, Bruce, Peru; brother, Keith Sanders, sisters Phyllis Baade, Noblesville, Indiana and Marge Walrod and husband David, Oxford, Ohio.
Grandchildren, Ryan Klopfenstein, Chad Klopfenstein, Amanda Travelstead, Jessica Young, Sasha Lindeen, Rachel Lindeen, Ashley M. Klopfenstein, Mike Klopfenstein, Krystal Klopfenstein, Jack Klopfenstein, Kimberly Klopfenstein, Austin McWherter, Haley McWherter, Blake Eschberger, Kian McWherter, Stewart Spindlow , Jennifer Crockett, Kaliegh Reyes, Seth Reyes, Braxton Molden, and Kylie Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Grace and Brady Klopfenstein, Carson Travelstead, MaKaylah DeShields and Jacob Young; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Tiffy.
She was preceded in death by husbands Ronald D. Grimes and Robert L. Molden Jr.; parents John and Lucille Sanders (Eikelberner), granddaughter, Ashley L. Klopfenstein, great grandchildren Caleb and Anthony Travelstead and brother, Paul Sanders.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
