Services for Ruth Ellen Hahn, 85, Logansport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Anoka United Methodist Church.
She died at 8:21 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006, in her residence.
Born Oct. 9, 1920, in Georgetown, Ill., she was the daughter of Harry Allen and Nora Mae Gephart Harper. She was married May 21, 1938, in Frankfort, to Joseph John Hahn, who preceded in death Feb. 24, 1995.
Ruth retired as a beautician and homemaker.
She was a member of Anoka United Methodist Church, the Sewing Club, Anoka Quilters, Indiana Cosmetologists and Ladies Auxiliary Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Ruth was raised by her grandmother, Ella Sarens, since the age of 3, and had her beauticianâs license since 1937.
She enjoyed cooking, baby-sitting grandchildren and gardening.
Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Annabel Dunn and her husband, Bill, Indianapolis, Kathy Maurene Pullen and her husband, Ken, Lafayette, and Bethani Marie Billiard and her husband, Mike, Logansport; one brother, Donald Claywell, Hegeler; seven grandchildren, Tracy Wilson and Kirby Wilson, both of Indianapolis, Jeremy Pullen and his wife, Debbie, Janelle Pullen and Josh Pullen, all of Lafayette, Jenny Benedict and her husband, Casey, Midwest City, Okla., and Brett Billiard, Logansport; one great-grandchild, Riley Pullen, Lafayette; and two nephews, Paul Crowder, Mesa, Ariz., and Carl Crowder, Lexington, Ky.
Three brothers, Marion Harper, Cecil Harper and Dale Harper; three sisters, Hazel Crowder, Vivian Burrell and Edna Frazee; one son, Terry Joseph Hahn; and one grandchild, Jason Marc Pullen, preceded in death.
The Rev. Jim Abbott will officiate at the services. Burial will be private in the Anoka/Hahn Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call one hour before services Saturday in the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Anoka United Methodist Church and to the Feed the Children Program.
Gundrum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
