Sandra Bush

Sandra Kay Bush, 47, Rockfield, Ind., passed away in Bristol, Tenn. on Thursday, March 25, 2010, after battling a lung disease.

Born July 18, 1962, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Richard Leydet and Viola Catherine Romig. On July 24, 1990 in Logansport, she married Gregory B. “Greg” Bush, who survives.

Sandra was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include husband, Gregory B. “Greg” Bush, Rockfield; sons, Jason Banta and wife Marcy, Logansport, and Karl Leydet, Logansport; step-son, Jason Bush, Frankfort; step-daughter, Jennifer Bush-Guinn and husband Danny, Bristol, Tenn.; mother, Viola Lane, Logansport; sisters, Kathy Scott and husband Mike, Camden, and Cindy Smith and husband Larry, Logansport; brothers, Kevin Benedict and wife Kim, Logansport, and Kenny Benedict, Carroll County, Ind.; grandchildren, Aziah and Keaunna Banta and Jasmine and Anthony Leydet; several nieces and nephews. Sandra also leaves behind a lifelong friend Patty Smith from Rockfield.

Sandra was preceded in death by brother, Kim Benedict, daughter, Crystal Leydet, and grandchild, Daniel Leydet.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home. Pastor George Plasterer will officiate.

Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery, Logansport.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
