Services for Sandra Lee Fry, 59, Kewanna, are 10 a.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009, in Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born Aug. 20, 1949, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Robert Richard Rance and Janie Eileen Birnell.
She was married on Aug. 24, 1967, in Logansport, to Alvin L. âJuniorâ Fry.
Sandra was formerly employed at Switches Inc. and flower department at Corral Supermarket. She was also active in home health care. She also worked at Fryâs Pizza at Lake Cicott.
She was a member of Pisgah Church and attended Mission of Faith church. Sandra was an avid mushroom hunter. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, card games, cooking, outdoors activities, and spending time with her grandchildren. Sandra made every holiday a special occasion and was always helping others.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin L. âJuniorâ Fry, Kewanna; daughter, Janey Gonzalez and husband Jesus, Royal Center; sons, Johnny Fry and wife Diana, Kewanna, Alvin L. Fry III and wife Kimberly, Royal Center; mother, Janie Eileen Rance, Logansport; brothers, Jack Rance and wife Sandy, Logansport, and Tim Rance and wife Helen, Logansport; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One son, Gary Fry; two brothers, Robert Richard Rance Jr. and Teddy Joseph Rance; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Fay Wagner, preceded in death.
Pastor Brooks Sayer will officiate. Burial will be in Crooked Creek Cemetery, Royal Center.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
