Sandra Jean Rushinsky
Services for Sandra Jean Rushinsky, 68, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in All Saints Catholic Church.
She died at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, in her residence.
Born Nov. 29, 1938, in Lorain, Ohio, she was the daughter of David and Cecelia Tesarek Rakich. She was married Sept. 16, 1961, in Elyria, Ohio, to Michael J. Rushinsky Sr., who survives.
Mrs. Rushinsky was a homemaker and former bank teller for the Elyria Savings and Trust. Sandra also had served as a receptionist for Drs. Abassi and Calisto.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Sandra enjoyed bingo,golfing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Also surviving are one son, Scott M. Rushinsky and his wife, Jill K., Logansport; one daughter, Deborah A. Koniarczyk and her husband, John, North Ridgeville, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Candace M. Bronish, Houston, Texas; one stepson, Michael J. Rushinsky Jr. and his wife, Wrendi, Johnson City, Tenn.; his mother, Cecelia Rakich, Westlake, Ohio; one brother, David Rakich and his wife, Mary, Olmsted Township, Ohio; grandchildren, Christian Burkey and his wife, Holli, Houston, Texas, Brittany Burkey, Lakewood, Ohio, Michelle Rushinsky, Lorain, Ohio, Rachael Rushinsky, Logansport, Luke Koniarczyk and Daniel Koniarczyk, both of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Elijah Rushinsky, Isaiah Rushinsky and Noah Rushinsky, all of Logansport, Alicia Zartman, South Bend, and Jarod Zartman, St. Petersburg, Russia, Jonathon Ulisse, Houston, Texas; and one great-grandson, Anthony Burkey, Houston, Texas.
Father Christopher Weldon will officiate at the services.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home, where a Scripture service will be held at 7 p.m.
