Sandra Smith-Oehlert

Sandra Lynn Oehlert, 65, of Logansport, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on July 20, 1952 in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late Harold W. and Allie Mae (Howell) Conklin. On September 22, 1972 in Logansport, IN she married Larry Dean Smith who preceded her in death on August 20, 1989.

Sandra was a Home Health Care Aide and child care provider for several years. She was a member of the Rehoboth Christian Center.

Survivors include two sons, Jerald William (Rose) Smith, Logansport; Harold (Misty) Conklin III, Galveston; two daughters, Allison Oehlert, Logansport; Dorla Collins, Logansport; one brother, Harold W. (Pam) Conklin Jr., Logansport; two sisters, Carolyn Oehlert, Logansport; Wanda Smith, Onward; seven grandchildren, Elleanna Lowe, Josie Smith, Michael, Darin, Zachary, Jeffrey and Gavin Smith; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm Friday June 29, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Conrad officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until time of services. A private burial will be held later in Mt. Hope cemetery.
