Sarah Courtney

Sarah Maglean M. Courtney, 88, Logansport, died at 9:33 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, in WoodBridge Health Campus.

Born Aug. 10, 1922, in Knoble, Ark., she was the daughter of Jodie and Ellen Golden Reed. She was married March 30, 1963, in Los Angeles to Paul F. Courtney, who preceded in death June 15, 1989.

Sarah was a homemaker and former seamstress.

She was a former member of Fairmount Rebecca Lodge.

Surviving are one son, Ray Woodall and wife, Laura, Logansport; sister Ellen Carl, Kentucky; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Nahoma Hutchison, and one son, Ben Woodall.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Brother Joe Shafer officiating.

Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
