Sharon Jacobsen

Sharon K. Jacobsen, 60, of Yorktown, Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, in Warsaw, Indiana.

Born on September 11, 1962, in Pierpont, Ohio, Sharon is the daughter of the late George and Edna (Fraiser) Wiley.  On April 25, 1987, Sharon married Michael M. Jacobsen who survives.

Sharon was a homemaker and also served 11 years in the U.S. Air Force as a munitions systems specialist.

Surviving Sharon, along with her husband, are two daughters, Jennifer (Andrew) Jones, Norfolk, VA; Melissa (Joseph) Owens of Fort Irwin, California; grandson, Oliver Owens; sister, Greta Brooks of Espyville, PA; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Kenneth Wiley.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Dr. Aaron Gross officiating.  Burial with full military rites will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of service on December 8, 2022.

IN lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
