Sharon Jones

Sharon S. Jones, 64, Logansport, died at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, in her residence.

Born April 19, 1946, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Wayne and Mildred Fahl Ross. She was married April 20, 1973, in Logansport, to Theodore H. Jones, who survives.

Sharon retired from Federal Mogul after 38 years of service. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Logansport. She enjoyed crafts.

Surviving are husband, Ted Jones, Logansport; son, Patrick Jones, Lafayette; daughter, Lisa Jones, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; step-son, Ted H. Jones Jr., Logansport; step-daughter, Nita Jones, Logansport; brother, Tom Ross and wife, Cathy, Logansport; four grandchildren, Christopher, Hannah, Seth and Tori Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Carole Knapp, and her parents.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Hinkle officiating.

Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Mexico.

Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
